1. Counselling, Mental Health and Wellbeing Service

Our confidential Counselling, Mental Health and Wellbeing Team help Manchester Met students if they are feeling worried, lonely or under pressure. Our service continues to offer support and guidance remotely through one-to-one sessions or group workshops on relaxation, stress management and confidence building.

2. Disability Service

The Manchester Met Disability Service team provide dedicated support for students with a disability, health condition or Specific Learning Difficulty such as dyslexia or dyspraxia. They give information on the resources available within the University and from external agencies. Virtual one-to-one appointments and a remote drop-in service continue to offer support for new and returning students.

3. Academic and Study Skills

The Academic and Study Skills team offers support and advice on academic writing, numeracy, specific learning difficulties, study skills and assistive technologies. Manchester Met students can access help virtually through one-to-one appointments, short courses and workshops.
