1. Student Hub
Whether you have a problem with your course, finances, personal life or mental health, Student Services can help. We will endeavour to answer your query and if we can’t, we will find the appropriate person to do so. The Student Hub is the first point of contact for any queries.
2. Therapy & Mental Health team
The Therapy & Mental Health Team offer a variety of support, including Talking Therapy (SST, counselling and CBT), groups/workshops and mental health advice. Students from all backgrounds can access our service. Our staff are trained and experienced in working with issues of diversity including sexuality, gender identity, culture and ethnicity.

3. Access Solent
The Access Solent Disability team can provide you with advice and support for any student with a disability, mental health condition, specific learning difficulty, or long-term health condition. This include support with seeking a diagnosis, implementing a learning support plan, and support with the DSA application process.

4. Student Funding
The student funding team administers applications to the numerous non-repayable funds to help you fund your studies and support you during your time at Solent.

5. International Support
Solent University welcomes students from all over the world and we have students from over 70 different countries studying here with us. Our international advice service is here to support you throughout your student experience and help you to get the most out of your student life from arrival to graduation.
6. Solent Futures
Solent Futures is the University’s careers, employability and enterprise service. The team are committed to getting students into great careers by offering impartial information, advice and guidance to support you and help you achieve your ambitions.
7. Student Achievement
The Student Achievement team mission is to improve student retention and achievement at the university. They do this through a variety of projects and programmes of interventions that proactively contact students providing tailored information, advice and guidance. They work collaboratively with staff across the University to facilitate these interventions.
8. Solent Library
The library provides resources, services and expertise to support the University’s students and staff in learning, research and teaching.
9. Accommodation
Our dedicated accommodation and residences teams are here to support you all year round and help to ensure that Southampton is a fun, exciting place to live and study. We also have dedicated staff to provide advice and assistance in finding accommodation in the private sector.

10. Guided Learning Centre
The Guided Learning Advisors can provide advice and support in planning and accessing the Guided Learning provision, digital skills, technology help and troubleshooting account and system problems, and help and guidance for the virtual learning environment (SOL).
