1. Student Services & Gateway
We are here to support you while you are studying at UCA. The Gateway is your first point of contact for information, support, and guidance about your welfare, wellbeing, money advice and much more. We have dedicated support teams for counselling and student wellbeing, disability & dyslexia, and academic support.
2. Student Wellbeing & Counselling
Our specialist teams offer the opportunity for you to explore, understand and find strategies for issues impacting on your academic work, social life or wellbeing.
As a student, you will have access to our free wellbeing tools and resources, including the myWellbeing app, TogetherAll, and Spectrum.Life’s 24/7 Student Support service.

3. Advice & Student Finance
We can support you with a wide range or personal and practical issues while studying including providing information, advice and guidance on student funding, bursaries and financial assistance, help with budgeting and general consumer and employment issues. Our Specialist Advisers are contactable via Gateway.
4. Disability & Specific Learning Difference/Difficulties (SpLDs)
If you have a disability, learning difference, or medical condition, we are here to support you. Our goal is to promote independent learning by assisting you in developing the necessary strategies, skills, and knowledge to succeed in your course.
5. International Student Support
Our team of Specialist Advisers offer information, advice and guidance to international students on a range of topics such as working during or after your studies, banking, travel and registering with a doctor.
