1. College Services
The College Services team are here to offer guidance and support on all aspects of your life in the UK from arrival to progression to your degree. We offer a range of services to help students settle in, including practical information about visas, travel, managing money, banking, and accessing medical care. We also offer opportunities for students to enjoy themselves and make friends. We run a range of professional development opportunities, social activities, and events.

2. Disability Support
Students with a medical condition, specific learning differences, mental health issue or disability can request additional support and adjustments by completing the disclosure form on your offer letter. Alternatively, speak to your College Services Advisor for guidance about how we can support your studies.

3. Mental Health and Wellbeing
The College runs various wellbeing events and awareness campaigns throughout the term. We can offer advice about coping with exam stress, anxiety and homesickness. Speak to College Services if you would like help building resilience and dealing with the pressures of student life.
All students also have access to an external confidential advice service called the Student Assistance Programme (SAP). The provides a confidential counselling service as well as legal and financial advice. A translation Service is available.
4. Kaplan Living Residence
During your time at UBIC, you can live at Kaplan Living Brighton. This fantastic, modern student accommodation is in the heart of the city, allowing you to get the most out of student life in Brighton. Kaplan Living can provide a special support package which adds another layer of care for your wellbeing. You’ll get 24-hour access to wellbeing coordinators, who can answer any questions and help you feel at home. This service is mandatory for students under 18, but other students can add it for peace of mind.

5. University specific support
When you progress to the University of Brighton, they will be able to offer you support and advice in a number of areas. The University of Brighton International Office is also able to offer help and advice to international students.
