1. Student Services

Confidential support to help you look after your wellbeing. We provide support for students with disabilities, specific learning differences, autism, mental and physical health needs, pregnancy, loneliness, anxiety, being care experienced or estranged or being from a different country or culture, and a whole host of other issues.

2. Student Money Advisors

Student Money Advisors can:

  • Provide information, advice and guidance to students in all areas of student funding. Support students in all areas of money advice, money management, availability and eligibility.
  • Provide support to resolve complex queries regarding funding and financial concerns.
  • Responsible for the administration of University Bursary schemes and discretionary financial support (hardship fund).

3. Chaplaincy

We offer a welcome to everyone, whatever faith or world view. Our team of Chaplains are on hand to offer pastoral support as well as to advise on matters of faith and belief; there’s also a programme of events and activities. Be in touch and find out more.

4. Union of Students Advice

The Union of Student's Advice Team provides a free, confidential advice and support service for all University of Derby Students. This includes Buxton and Leek College students, Access, University of Derby Online Learners, and students studying at Partnership Colleges around the world.
