Organisations

The Student Grief Network

The Student Grief Network works with students and universities to improve education and awareness around grief and build community for those going through it. We have a range of resources, peer support groups and events, specifically for bereaved university students.

Let’s Talk about Loss

Let's Talk about Loss is for young adults age 18-35.

This charity provides resources as well as in-person meet ups across the UK, led by young adults with personal experience. They also have some online sessions and groups, such as their book club.

The New Normal Charity

The New Normal Charity is a peer-support charity with lots of free, regular meetings (mostly online) for diverse communities. They have a general ‘Good Grief’ group, as well as ‘It’s Complicated’, ‘Queer Good Grief’, ‘Black and Brown Good Grief’, ‘Boys Talk’ and more.

Suicide & Co

Suicide & Co provides support for those bereaved by suicide. They have a helpline and can support individuals to access free counselling. They also have resources to understand suicide and how to talk about it (please note they are not a crisis support service).

Talk Grief (by Winston’s Wish)

Talk Grief is an online space for teenagers and young adults (13 to 25) to learn from other young grieving people, find healthy ways to cope and feel less alone. There are lots of real stories, along with guidance from bereavement experts.

AtaLoss.org

AtaLoss.org is a UK wide signposting and information website for bereaved people. You can search by your location, type of loss, type of support you’re looking for and more.
